Haven’t watched WWE regularly for years but just started to get into the PPVs again from the Rumble this year, I try and watch Dynamite every week but that’s about it.
Although I have resubbed to NJPW from Dominion, I couldn’t watch new japan last year as the silent crowds were just weird but can’t wait for the G1 this year!
pretty much exclusively AEW. Once in a while i’ll throw on an old TNA PPV from the mid 00s, or attitude era manias just to see Mick Foley go.
I’m going through the old OSW reviews of TNA from 2007, absolute peak silly bollocks wrestling I love it.
Everything AEW, and (an attempt at) everything NJPW. Some random AAA or CMLL if something cool catches my eye.
All I remember of NJPW during the COVID protocols was basically just bad House of Torture beatdowns and a bit of a holding pattern as far as booking went because a lot of the talent wasn’t able to travel… you didn’t miss much.
The G1 this year looks like it’s gonna be great, with Kaito Kiyomiya from NOAH and Eddie Kingston as two surprise entrants, and with Yota Tsuji coming back from excursion to almost steamroll SANADA and blag his way into being new LIJ leader too, I bet he’s gonna go on a complete tear here! I kinda wish it was 2 large blocks instead of 4 medium blocks though, mainly because Okada would probably go nuclear against both Kiyomiya and Shota Umino again!
AEW Dynamite, Rampage (baby), Collison + PPVs.
I also watch the WWE Big 4, and stuff like Wrestle Kingdom.
Collision has been off to a great start so far I hope they keep it up and it doesn’t go the way of Rampage.
Every episode of Impact, WWE ppv, Every higly rated (acording yo cagematch.net) NJPW show, every AAA show with English commentary available, and more or less random GCW, AEW, etc.
mainly AEW but I’ll watch indies occasionally mainly GCW and Pro Wrestling Revolver
Dynamite, Collision, AEW PPVs, WWE PLEs, and major NJPW events. If I have some spare time I try to catch Rampage but it’s no longer a priority.
AEW, specifically Dynamite. I’ll watch Rampage and Collision the day after because they haven’t felt as important and I work too early the next day most times.
Others I don’t watch as consistent because of work and lack of time, in addition to ease of viewing (ROH, NJPW, IMPACT, Stardom, Chocopro, etc) or distrust (WWE). Variety of choices for everybody is great though.
I’m an AEW guy, and with the amount of content they’ve got I just don’t have the bandwidth for any others. I’ve actually preferred Collision to Dynamite the last 2 weeks. Good show!
I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with what fed you watch as they are all pretty good these days. 2023 is a great year for wrasslin!
