    That’s one symptom of car-dependency!

    If we had proximity shops minutes away by foot, we wouldn’t do one giant grocery weekly with 30 min commute one way. We’d just buy what we need just passing by.

    This is exactly how I feel every time I have to clip my fingernails

    Like, dishes? I don’t mind. Laundry? I enjoy it. But these damn nails just won’t stop growing I just fucking clipped them and now they’re getting long again

    Gotta keep going to the grocery store. Food doesn’t just grow on trees, you know? Not like it can just be out in the environment with us where we live and work.

    I used to think getting groceries would be a weekly or biweekly thing. I’m in that fucking store every day and a half to four days.

    It is a conspiracy by big food. Why sell you durable groceries when they can get you addicted to single use food?
