Been hesitant to get into gardening for a while, finally took the plunge in late May with whatever I could scrape together. Already learning from mistakes (vertical support, crowding, a grow bag that isn’t meant for potatoes 😊), but happy that it’s still alive so far! No peas yet but I’m patiently hoping. Open to advice and tips for this/next year!

Relieved to hear they’re ok with crowding! They’re along a west facing wall that gets mostly unobstructed sunlight after noon and I’m sitting over in the Mid-Atlantic.

I was just looking at them today and wondering about the colouring too, so I might try to find a spot farther from a wall if sunlight can be a factor. That greener vine is definitely reaching out from the wall so that’d make sense! I wonder if they just need moved a foot or so if that one’s doing so much better?
