It’s a shame because arts council funding is a lifeline for independent artists/producers who are trying to create something which might be more niche or outside the mainstream. If you want to make art, use your own resources or resources people agreed to give you, don’t use people’s taxes that could otherwise be spent on climate transition, defence, education, social servicies, etc…
