Computer scientists at the University of Waterloo have discovered a method of attack that can successfully bypass voice authentication security systems with up to a 99% success rate after only six tries.

    That sounds like a big bar to clear, but in reality many people are willing posting videos of themselves talking on tiktok, or youtube. So you’ll find ample examples to train a deep fake. It isn’t true for everyone obviously, but it’s much more prevalent now then it would have been 20 years ago.
