It’s more to do with the fact that your living situation as an adult isn’t conducive to getting all your friends together regularly and playing games to relax. Kids have enough free time that they can easily overcome the stupid town planning we’ve given ourselves. Even then, plenty of adults still play pickup basketball, volleyball, and other sports for fun.
