And why is it samurai?
Calling it French Fries in the Belgium community is quite the risk you’re taking.
And mayonaise of course. Nothing beats mayonaise.
I like living dangerously!
Mayonnaise, only with stoofvlees
Samurai sauce
Friends for life
Edit: Pili-Pili is also acceptable
Haha, I don’t think I’ve ever tried samurai. Maybe I should give it a try.
If I had to rank them:
-
Mayonaise
-
Tomato ketchup
-
Béarnaise sauce
-
Tartar sauce (which is actually based on mayonaise)
…
- Everything else
-
Mayo
You’re Dutch. So follow-up question: Which one?
Zoete Hollandse bucht of Echte goeie Belgische met ei?
Zoete Hollandse bucht!
Andalouse of course
I tried tartar sauce last time and it’s now my new favorite
I know this is for Belgians but Malt Vinegar simply cannot be beat
Mayonnaise is the only acceptable answer. Everyone else is lying to themselves
I concur
“Pommes Schranke”, mayonnaise and ketchup.
TIL :-)

I love it.
Interestingly it tastes much better like this than a Single premixed sauce made from mayo and ketchup.
That’s a sad amount of sauce. I can still see fries :D
But you haven’t tried “frit special” yet - Mayo/Ketchup/Onion?
The Onions: roasted or fresh?
They should be fresh, although I’ve seen versions with roasted ones too.
Sorry to that one guy who posted about using some kind of vinegar on his fries but lemmy.world had to roll back and we lost 30 minutes of comments/posts.
This is the way
This is the way
Mayonaise, nothing else than home made mayonaise
Mayo, though I’ve dabbled in ketchup and curry ketchup as well, especially mixed with mayo.
Unless it’s friet stoofvlees, the only acceptable answer is mayo.
Honey Dijon
Mayo
Utah Fry Sauce
50% Ketchup
50% Mayo
. . . I’ll show myself out…
