        is it really easier to make a screenshot instead of just hitting “share”?

        in my last workplace, support put pictures into word documents instead of sending them directly, this gives me the same vibes

        edit: oh i see it’s insta, makes more sense now

          Never used Insta; does it not have share or even a download button? What kind of social media app doesn’t have a share button?

            I also never used Instagram but I guess a share button would just generate a link to the post there and not share a copy of the picture. They want people to come see their content (and ads) and not content to be sent to the people outside their platform. It’s a walled garden afterall.
