Posting blatantly fascist remarks like “at least it’s [insert marginalized groups here] who are being murdered and not me” will get you permabanned with no appeal.
When you comment, please imagine a Palestinian, an immigrant, an LGBTQIA+ person, a BIPOC, or some other marginalized group will see it. That should provide a good litmus test for whether what you’re about to comment is wildly offensive.
Also, what the fuck? People who say that are dumb assholes. It might not be you now but fucking fascists eat even their own eventually. Fascism is a political ideology of destruction. Nothing good has ever come out of it.
I’m not too surprised because I know gay people within my own community who align themselves with groups that want to persecute them, and they wrongly think they’ll be spared if/when the long knives come out.
They’ve got no problem watching other people suffer, as long as it’s not them. And yeah, it’s as short-sighted and self-destructive as it sounds.
