The deployment of cybersecurity preventative efforts is of importance in terms of managing risks of cyber-attacks. The assumption is that any effort of well-intent would not result in negative or harmful impact. However, the current literature does not address the effects of such efforts on various stakeholders and user groups. This talk aims to address this gap by proposing two frameworks for assessing such effects.
