    forgettable and unmemorable

Not true, I distinctly remember my hatred of the entire plot and progression of The Last Jedi and the ending of Rise of Skywalker.

The rest of it I don’t know anything about but that’s more likely because I’ve only seen each one once and never subbed to r/sequelmemes and have only played The Complete Saga LEGO Star Wars games.

Heh, I too vividly remember my disgust, confusion, disappointment, etc. But the movies themselves, I can barely remember anything. The structure was just so nonexistent, the plot so weak, the whole thing felt like a series of B plot vignettes duct taped together into one frankensteinian trilogy of nonsense.

Ok, I just remembered them riding horses on the hull of a star destroyer in orbit! Not sure how to meme that but there’s something. And freeing those horses at the monte carlo casino (briefly before they got recaptured obviously)…oh and the part where the totally fucking ruined everything about space battles by telling us we could just be ramming capital ships and death stars with small objects going lightspeed.

Godamnit now I’m all freshly pissed off again, fuck I hate those movies so much lol

I decided to watch Rise of Skywalker, just so I could finish Star Wars and be done with. Halfway through I realised that I’ve already seen it but had forgotten. Just think, the culmination of Star Wars was so bad, that I couldn’t remember watching it. I still can’t remember anything about the film.
