I was playing around with other builds for a few months but have come back to arcane, which is where I started.
Just curious about weapon preferences or suggestions for arcane builds.
I’ve played around with a few options but am currently rocking the Occult Giant Crusher & Reduvia dagger, Dragon Communion Seal and the ever present longbow.
I’ve tried a number of different weapons for my (un-optimized, PVE only) arcane build but I keep coming back to Elonara’s poleblade as the most fun. The double-handed move set feels fantastic, it applies bleed well, the Ash of War can initiate and then make space by retriggering. And the charged R2 is so damn satisfying. Throw in Flame Grant Me Strength and maybe a dragon incantation or two and it’s a very versatile setup- at least for PVE.

I only play pve and am over leveled so not really concerned about optimizations.
I personally love the flameberge and the raptor talons. As you can infuse them occult and still get that sweet bleed proc hehe

The ones I usually run Bloody Slash, Sword Dance, Storm Stomp, and sometimes Blood Tax if I’m feeling cheeky. Tho mostly Bloody Slash as it does so much when it connects!
P.S. I do mostly invasions so not sure on how good it’ll be on only duels
Eleanora’s Poleblade is an amazing arcane/dex weapon.

I’ve not even switched on my ps4 since posting but should get to slash some baddies this weekend.
The ripple axe that the Albanaurics use. It scales natively with arcane and you can apply grease to it so it can proc effects really fast.
