Gambit was my favourite X-Man and after him it was Beast. I never found Wolverine to be a compelling character and outside of a few cool moments where like when the claw in the brain and him losing his adamantium skeleton, I found him boring and his storylines tedious. I think his success is predicated on the fact that old men find him relatable.

What are you on about ? Isn’t wolverine one of the most tragic and traumatized character ever ? I’d say he is as interesting ir more than other xmen.
Traditionally yes? In the last decade or so? No. IIRC, he’s meant to be like 4’11 or something in the comics too, yet he’s somehow Hugh Jackman
I think hugh jackman is perfect for the role .
He’s too perfect for me. But he’s definitely not a bad casting.
