    I’m sure it tastes like ass, but this would actually be really nutritious tho.

    Especially compared to actual Boba.

    Actually, it might not even really taste that bad.

        Eh

        It probably tastes good when compared to like a kale smoothie or something.

        Like, no one is drinking it because they enjoy it. But people have drank things that taste worse and not as good for you.

    If you go a Chinese owned boba place in Sydney (I haven’t tried elsewhere, so I won’t comment on that), on the fillings you can is a kind of tiny red beans that actually go well with your drink.

      That’s not boba, that’s 紅豆冰 (“Red Bean Ice”, I can’t believe this is actually how it’s translated). This is more common in Hong Kong, like boba in Taiwan.

      Sounds like adzuki/sweet red beans. I’ve seen it in boba shops here too (west coast USA), but not all of them have it.

      Shit, now I want boba…
