    This was shown to Mormon kids as an example of how to be at least as late as the 90s, and I’d suspect that it’s likely currently used as well.

    This is not terribly far off from evangelical views either.

    Even more obscure:

    A 2003 remake of this film called The Legend of Johnny Lingo was directed by Steven Ramirez and financed by the Utah-based Tahitian Noni International.

      I assumed that was a movie created to hide the existence of the 1960s film, just like “Meet the Mormons” was created to hide the existence of the critical “Meet the Mormons” movie made by someone outside of their church.
