Hey folks! Watching this community grow and more jokes starting to spring up is great (and desperately needed as I’m running out of morally acceptable jokes!)

Wanted to get a sense from the community though, how would you like to see things going forward? There are some communities that have started scraping reddit for material as well, which could work here. (Though we’d want to figure out which subs, thresholds etc) Is that something in which folks are interested? What about from other instances? (Note, I don’t know how to do any of this but am happy to ask around, beg, plead etc.)

Also, how about weeklong jokes/tournaments/threads? I was thinking a week long pun thread on some given topic. The longer, shaggier and more tortured the pun the better? Winner chooses new topic etc.

Other thoughts? I’m loving this lemmy community, figured you folks might have some great thoughts and I’d love to hear them!
