Have meta actually released any in depth data about this new project? If not why are people getting all tribal about this, wouldn’t it be better to wait until something more concrete is known before we start deciding what we are or aren’t going to ban/defederate.
This whole thing could end up splintering the larger community I’ve seen mastodon admins defederate simply because an admin on a different instance didn’t answer their email quickly enough because they were in another part of the world and asleep.
We just need to keep calm and not shoot ourselves in the leg
