      I think some people were making guides on how to build Infinity with user-owned API keys, although it’s not guaranteed that Reddit will still allow regular users to create their own

        I have read (but cannot source) that reddit will explicitly not be allowing this.

          Getting the keys or building the app?

          In the latter case, I’d rather make a burner account every now and then than use that TikTok-ass video player;

            Using the key within a publicly available third party app is my understanding.

          The dev said reddit doesn’t allow infinity to have the option for normal users to input their keys dynamically, but I think there wasn’t any mention about people building it from source.

      How do you think the infinity community will handle the subscription model? I notice prices aren’t immediately listed.

        Also the announcement properly say is pay-per-use, so it should be something like credits, recharge $1, $5, $10.
