This dns leak test says I have a bunch of them, and I’m genuianlly concerned because I just started torrent with mullvand VPN yesterday
In express vpn’s dns leak test though, it only shows eight so idk whats up. I switched to cloudflares dns but after seeing all those leaks I switched back to my normal dns
For mullvad VPN did you set up stuff like kill switch on it, and if you are using Qbittorrent did you go to settings > Advanced > Network Interface to tie your VPN to the client? Do you still get leaks after that if you go http://ipleak.net/ to do a torrent address detection check with a magnet link they provide?
Just change your DNS config in the OS you use, I suggest you to use NextDNS but 1.1.1.1 should do the work too.
If you don’t know how to do it just check out NextDNS.io for more details.
Chad, fixed the issue for me no sweat
A DNS Leak means that you are somehow still using your ISP’s DNS

You didn’t provide much information… do you actually have a DNS Leak? Are any of the DNS servers listed in your test your own ISP’s DNS servers?
No, they arent mine own dns servers but then idk how I have the links, even when I turn off my vpn
Use Mullvad DNS, they even offer a public address available to anyone. Last time I checked, Mullvad was a nonprofit, so hopefully less greedy than a corporate VPN imho. Public DNS is 194.242.2.2
