      Is your uBlock Origin up to date? Or are you using a worse adblocker? (Site works fine for me with no ads on Android)

        Nah, I’m good. Just because you can’t see ads doesn’t mean you’re safe. My browser (Vivaldi)blocked 23 trackers an 9 ads on that site. I’m glad that sites tell me, that they don’t want to let me view their site without getting tracked. I won’t disable my adblocker. When online journalism figured out that they should cooperatively work on a method to let readers pay for the content, I will probably disable it. But that won’t happen, because of greed.

          Ublock Origins blocks trackers too.
          The ads don’t load because the requests get checked against a black list and chucked into the void according.

      You can get around it by uninstalling the apps, updating Windows, then reinstalling the apps using renamed executables.
