Mine has been ok. Did some subtle bi stuff and came out to a friend but I’m just tired of bigots everywhere.

I could complain all evening but I’m just tired of our identity being seen as immoral. Just tired of my super religious community tbh

Sorry to hear that friend 😕

Mine has been okay! Tensions seem higher than previous years. But I luckily live in a very blue state so I feel pretty safe even when celebrating.

This was my first pride month and my closeted ass is kinda disappointed. lucky to live in a decent country. Lgbt laws are the one good thing about Malta. Just tired of religion everywhere. It was so shoved in my face I thought it was legally mandatory like school. Still is shoved down my throat.

      I’m tired of everything

i got covid… so, not great. :P the big pride celebrations in my city were also all right at the beginning of the month when i was still super sick so i missed them all.

keep up your covid precautions please… covid is still out there and it can hit you really hard! i have to say sitting there reading about all these maskless queer club events while i had covid felt very darkly funny

I’m sorry your community is stifling. However, I do have faith that one day, when you’ve had a chance to cultivate your loved ones, you will find the support you deserve now.

As far as for me, we do our pride celebrations in July in my city. But I live in the gay neighborhood so there has been lots of activity and lots of smiling faces and pride flags of all kinds about. So it’s been good so far. Definitely looking forward to the celebrations really ramping up in a couple weeks! Be well friend!

I’ve been trying to ignore most of the news cycle, and enjoy the month. I’ve been out to my friends as “transfemme on the inside” for years but this pride I asked a small group to use she/her and the name “Sarah” for me

I’ve also taken time to explicitly be more femme, even if it’s just been in the house

It’s been a good month, even if it’s been contained. My town has been supportive, but it’s residents are a mixed bag - a small blip of acceptance in a pretty unaccepting area

Mine started great with a pride event in my city right at the start of the month. It was so fun and so nice :) I went with my fiancé and her friends and went out in fem clothes and makeup for the first time!

I have to admit after that hot start I haven’t really done much pride related stuff tbh, but it has given me some confidence to experiment with clothing and makeup in public more so that’s good I guess.
