i like yankee most, becase it can be shortened to yank as in ‘yanking your chain’ and also because it makes canadians (north montana w/extra French) mad if you call them that

    ‘Yank’ all day long. It’s short, easy to spell, and gets around the misconception that America=USA

    I’ve heard many proud Guatemalans etc. say “I am American” (because they are). I love that shit.
