CP is a crime because it creates victims. We have criminal law for the purpose of creating justice (righting wrongs caused to victims) and preventing more victims.
I think it’s a pretty sad state of affairs that we can’t have rational debates about CP when it approaches a victimless crime (approaching being the key thing here). What about an AI that infers it instead of from some training data? At some point, it really ought to be a conversation about mental health.
