Joints in the US are wrapped in rolling papers like ZigZag and Marley (I prefer - they’re unbleached hemp). I can’t recall the last time someone here put tobacco in a rolled marijuana cigarette. I roll mine w/o filters. Pot is pretty cheap - and legal - in WA state.

Blunts are often rolled with flavoured tobacco leaves - examples: https://www.bnbtobacco.com/pages/blunt-wrap-brands

they reek of ‘grape’ or ‘pina colada’ and are made out of the same kind of tobacco leaves you’d wrap a cigar in; blunts og form was emptied cigar wrappers - black and milds, cigarellos etc., it’s incredibly chemical-smelling and tasting and makes me wonder why

That’s how Europeans smoke it. I’ve tried it, and it’s good, it adds a little bit of a kick. Not something I’d do on the regular though because weed tastes so good on its own.

struggled too much with cigs to fuck with my weed that way, but different strokes for different folks. I do think the principal applies tho - you’re taking good weed and making it taste like shit lol

I agree for the most part. I do like to try new things, variety is the spice of life. I quit smoking blunts right around the time I could regularly get better than brick weed schwag for that very reason.
