My attempt to subscribe to this sub has been pending for 2 days.
Do we need a new mod somehow, or i there a more active Brisbane community?

I think it’s a Lemmy glitch. If you can interact with the community you are subscribed.
You can cancel it and then click reapply instantly or give it a couple goes. Often fixes it.
