I really like KZ iems, but lately I think I’d be better with fiio, e ne though I haven’t bought any. Are they really better or is it just the brand name?

Fiio might sound a bit better, but IMO not worth the price difference. I’d recommend Moondrop or CCA if you liked KZ. Moondrop Chu sound pretty neutral and blow anything at this price point out of the water basically, and CCA CA16 are warm with less clarity, but still nice sound overall.

@Soos_R I wanted some CCA earphones because of their price but I didn’t like how they look. I know it may be a controversial opinion, but I think earphones can be used as part of your outfit. At the end of the day I put sound as more important, but if they’re too ugly I simply don’t like them as much. The moondrops are tempting tho

How do you feel about the look of the KiwiEars Cadenza? I just got a pair, like the sound (for the price) and all four colors look great!

@TheOakTree They’re beautiful but I already have THE Kz Zs10 and they’re kinda on the same price range. I’m trying to save money for the moondrop aria snow. After that I really want the Hifiman Sundara

Lol, I have the Kato (basically Aria’s big brother) and the Sundara, so let me know if you have any questions.

That depends on what you want. Most KZ IEMs are rather v shaped. What do you want to improve? There’s nothing wrong with being fine with what you have and the best IEM in the world isn’t necessarily of much use if it doesn’t suit your taste.
