Does anybody knows how long it takes to sign up for the Lemmy.ml instance with an account? It would give me the green wheel and I don’t know if I have to wait “x” amount of time or it’s just not possible at this time.

I would recommend using one of the instances suggested on https://join-lemmy.org/instances
I REALLY hope that account migration will be a thing at one point. It would make everyone (me included) feel more confident.
