      That makes a lot of sense, we need active mods more than experienced ones right now i would say

        For what its worth I’ve done some discord moderating so I’m not a complete spring chicken but honestly I think as long as the mods actually do the moderating there’s not necessarily a need for them to be active, and experience is better in some way. I’m never gonna be the guy pulling posts for F5ers or making actual useful shit like Billy Carpenter’s analyses or papa wengz bot, but that doesn’t mean that I couldn’t be a good moderator (though I don’t know whether I will be tbh lol)

          Honestly, we don’t have anywhere near enough content to require active moderation. Right now the moderators roles are pretty much cheerleaders - driving content and engagement so that this isn’t some fad people do for a week and remains an active thriving community.
