since (and including) Man of Steel, every DC movie has been a tremendous pile of dog shit. Overwrought, overproduced, convoluted, and boring, with each one more unbearable, pretentious, and insufferable than the last. The Flash just looks like the fireworks finale of that shitshow, and I sure as hell am not going to pay to see it, even if I weren’t already boycotting it due to Ezra Miller’s past actions.
How a movie studio could just keep pumping out such garbage, over and over, for so long confounds me only slightly less than that people kept paying to see these shitty films.
And as far as Gunn goes, well… audiences are clearly tired of that schlock, too after 15 years of non-stop Marvel content that, at this point, is just a blur of exploding CGI that all looks exactly the same. DC has totally missed the boat on the superhero craze and the billions of dollars they could have made.
