Trying to be slightly more open but keep some plausible deniability. Its dumb I know
Wear lighter/paler colours if masculine, darker more prominent ones if feminine.
Post Bi memes because “they’re funny”.
That might be a bit difficult, everything I wear is pretty dark. Maybe I should get some new trousers
I’d say dark is fine, but you could add a dash of color. That’s why jewelery is nice (it doesn’t need to be girly), or just wearing bright red socks with your dark clothes.
Basically, if a guy looks “heteronormie” but had some sort of little intresting thing going on, that always gets my interest. Even if a guy isn’t actually bi (or gay/queer) the fact that he’s willing to take a step outside the “default” makes me think he’s probably open minded enough not to be offended, even if he’s not actually interested.
I was complimented as “giving off bisexual vibes” yesterday. I’ve been working on it by doing the below. I genuinely like this stuff, but bonus as looking more bi.
- Wear some women’s clothing (I like women’s pants)
- Jewelry (bracelets are my thing. Tried rings, but kept losing them)
- Make-up
- Piercings
- Tattoos
Also, I don’t do it consciously, but I let go of some inhibitions/fears in therapy and I think I started doing the “gay guy hand gestures” a bit.
Guess I’m on the right track. I wear bracelets and a necklace I made myself. Don’t like store bought but a used bullet and a tiny amount of copper is nice on a string
The bullet might turn people off. Might look a bit conservative 2nd amendment style
Guess I’ll make a second one with only copper. I just use whatever scrap metal I find.
Wish the bullet wasn’t used and rusted so I could put it in my head
I do my nails. Black with bright color accents. I enjoy the activity of it and it stands out.
Would love to. Not sure how I’d manage tho
Definitely takes practice. Helps to have a steady hand, which I don’t have. Over time I’ve learned how to clean up messy parts. What would prevent you from doing this?
Parents probably. Also I have a reputation in some local communities that risking is not a good idea
Are you in a place where it’s unsafe for you to be out? If so, I don’t know that I’d recommend testing the waters too much. Painting your nails is not necessarily bisexual, but it sounds like even “plausible deniability” isn’t really an option for you based on our conversation here. DM me if you need to talk.
Its not unsafe I’m just scared of coming out. I’ll DM you. I’d like to talk
People don’t even think I’m straight, and all I’m doing is existing 💀
Really the best advice is just be yourself! I think most things that make people seem “a bit bi” are just people wearing whatever / acting however they like.
I feel like I see a lot of straight people feel like their are “rules” that if they break them the opposite sex won’t find them attractive, or folks might think they’re “weird” or “gay”. And plenty of of gay people feel similar pressure to “fit in” to the constraints of whatever subculture they’re part of.
When people stop worrying about being one thing, and just do whatever mix of stuff naturally appeals, they normally end up giving off ‘bi vibes’ (at least to me). Obviously, this is a lot of big generalisations!
, body language, etc that shows that they’re not desperately trying to be stwreotyoiclally straight or gay.
Nail polish works for me. It just sets people off, like they can’t handle a hetero-looking guy wearing iridescent metallic green. Or, they get the impression I’m going for.
