If you have game time and not a subscription it should be somewhere on page where you launch WoW. (It was there the last time I had game time, it might have moved since then.) If you have a sub I think you have to go to your account settings on the battle.net website and find the subscriptions section there to see how long until it charges you again.
I have game time, the time you have left is shown on the bottom-left of the battle.net launcher.
It’s the same if you canceled your sub, time left is shown there.
If your sub is active, as you said, you need to check your account page on blizzard site.
It’s going to be right below the play button, where it says “Subscription expired” on the screenshot below:
