The woman whose story Alabama Sen. Katie Britt appeared to have shared in the Republican response to the State of the Union as an example of President Joe Biden’s failed immigration policies told CNN she was trafficked before Biden’s presidency and said legislators lack empathy when using the issue of human trafficking for political purposes.
Of course the Republicans are this disgusting.
A complete lie about the time and location of a horrific atrocity just to rail against Biden is about as despicable as it gets. This poor woman is being used as a political pawn and is about to get dragged through the media shit storm just because the Republicans don’t have any sense of decency and empathy.
This whole thing should make everyone angry, but the only people who are going to read a story about this lie are not the people who need it.
