but I think he’s going to win again

I see little evidence that many moderate republican or independents are going to vote for a convicted rapist to be the leader of the free world. Just my take on it. Just having the maga cult in his pocket is not enough votes to unseat an incumbent president.

Really? I see so much evidence for that. Because they’ve done it before. Republicans have shown time and time again that they have no qualms whatsoever with voting for anyone as long as they have the word Republican next to their name. That’s the strength of their party. They may gripe and b**** about it but they always fall into line, election day.

Republicans aren’t the only voters though.

Democrats underestimated how unpopular Clinton was with moderates, which is how Trump got elected.

Now it’s the other way around. Trump already lost to Biden because everyone but the Republicans loathed him by that point, and he’s only been worse ever since.

I’m not counting eggs before they hatch, but when it comes down to it I think that Biden can carry the election as long as Dems and moderates show up to vote.

There’s enough of them who will stay home and just not vote at all that I believe Biden will win

In 2016 I was so certain that Trump would lose to Hillary, that when he won I was in complete disbelief. Over the last 8 years I’ve spent a lot of time working with a lot of blue-collar people and have spent a lot of time talking to them about their beliefs. And while I don’t share those beliefs, I understand how they got there.

And as unbelievable as it may be to some of us, there are a large portion of population that thinks of Biden just as lowly as we may think of Trump. And they have their reasons. They have their own echo chamber that makes them believe that there’s not a single chance that Biden will wil, just like how we have our own echo chamber telling us the opposite.

And from what I can see, the right is a lot more enthusiastic about their candidate then the left is about theirs. That’s the only reason I think Trump will end up winning.

Don’t forget Trump has only ever won once - in 2016 - and even then he lost the popular vote by 3 million. Every single major race since then - the 2018 midterms, the 2020 presidential election, the 2022 midterms - he or his endorsed candidates either outright lost or failed to live up to expectations. Don’t get me wrong, I’m as anxious as anybody else and I’ll believe it when I see it, but if I were to place a bet I’d bet he’s going to lose yet again.

And he would lost have if he hadnt cheated 2 weeks before the election by paying off his hookers.

Just cuz he ‘won’ doesnt mean he won. Is Lance Armstrong the winner of the tour de france? Nope.

Just because you decided that he wasn’t supposed to win the presidency last time, doesn’t mean he didn’t already sit in the chair for 4 years. If it’s happened before, it can happen again. And I think it unfortunately will.

Just so I understand. “Grad them by the pussy” and general asshole corrupt Trump was ok. Rapist Trump is not ok?

        I hope you’re right.

You can use deductive reasoning figure out what “again” means in this context.

No, using it in this case makes perfect sense. You’re having some kind of cognition problem here, or one of those people who apparently are physically incapable of admitting being wrong.

If you couldn’t figure out what he meant when he used the word again, you might want to go take an English language class AGAIN
