I was not the most active user on reddit and therefore not particular into any subreddit other than programmer humor and prequel memes. In neigher of them I created content and @programmerhumor already exists.

So if any of you want to start a magazine feel free to do so. Ideally there isn’t already one on the big instances (https://beehaw.org https://lemmy.ml https://kbin.social https://feddit.de)
If there is already one on the big instances just go to the search and type in magazine@domain the search is case sensitive

    I tried !isitdown@infosec.pub and !isitdown@infosec.pub and https://infosec.pub/c/isitdown and all of them come back empty. Other infosec.pub mags have the same problem.

    Many big instances are walled off in Cloudflare (e.g. lemmy.world, sh.itjust.works, lemm.ee, lemmy.ca). They block people and give problems because they are not open access. So I tend to search for a mag /in the open free world/ with CF instances filtered out. If there is nothing that’s open access then I usually create it.
