I think it’s a neat variation on “girl gets to know how akatsuki members really are and gets attached to them” except they are still fucked up terrorists that ready to kill her at any moment and kinda hold her hostage because they may as well exploit her for cheap labor instead of just killing her. MC gets some cool tools, but is still doesn’t become a ninja and universe keeps remining her that is she is not careful she will likely be killed, it doesn’t bend itself for convenience.
