    Really brings to light how curated the keynotes are. Do people make purchases based on them? Or do they just shape the early narrative till we can get useful information?

      Most people don’t make informed decisions in the traditional sense. Probably yourself included depending on the product. I for sure don’t look at “spec sheets” for shoes for example.

    I found this really interesting and it makes a lot of sense for them to do this. Unfortunately it might also lead to uninformed customer decisions, like people having no idea that Retina screens are just HighDPI displays that are available on other devices as well. Same thing can happen with many of these brandings people might consider a selling point.
