How are you liking the browns? I’ve recently build a KS-33 version of (obviously) the Zilpzalp, and was wondering how the KS-27 switches feel in comparison…
Also obligatory KLOR is such a great keyboard 😌
Haven’t tried the KS-33 browns yet. I have some of the aloe and wisteria switches but no board to put them in yet (this one is soldered). The KS-27 browns are good but not amazing. I think they’d be better lubed, and I might even prefer a slightly lighter spring.
The closest thing I have to compare with is Choc Sunsets, which I thought were underwhelming out of the box, but are awesome with a 35g spring swap and lube. Considering the price though, the Gateron switches are a great value. I’d love to see more boards supporting them.
