This project DOES NOT suppot piracy, you are required to source your own games and keys, we make no money off this project (mainly so that Nintendon’t sue us lol)
They do not understand what yuzu fell afowl of (it wasn’t the taking money). If they are still decrypting games, with or without keys, they are still infringing the dmca and will run into the same situation.
From my understanding, the DMCA argument wasn’t actually tested in court. Since they settled, no court precedent was set with a ruling. It won’t stop Nintendo from trying again, but it at least means it won’t be an automatic win for Nintendo.
It’s been tested a few times before now, this is far from the first time it has come up.
Aren’t you judging too soon? That looks more like a generic no no piracy statement which is easy to understand for a non tech wavy user who doesn’t understand much beside run Nintendo games on PC. I haven’t really dug deep into the whole emulator shit show that happened as I don’t use it myself but that statement by itself doesn’t really mean much.

please note the use of keys here, that means they are decrypting games, which means they are doing the same thing that yuzu got shutdown for. So no, I’m not Judging “too soon”.
Yes. I’m sure those tongue-in-cheek attitudes are going to help reassuring developers to put their time in this project that is definitely not Yuzu and definitely not going to be taken down
Haha the name. Sorry had to say it.
