      All of the wood except the plywood was recycled from someone down the road who rebuilt their deck. They were a bit confused when I asked for their trash but it worked out. That got me the frame, a bit of the hardware, and all of the holds. Someone on r/homewalls alerted everyone that grainger was selling some relevant stuff for pennies at the time, so I managed to get the bolts, screws, and t-nuts super cheap. The most expensive part was the plywood, which if I remember right was about $165.

      I did break about 30 holds while learning what the wood could sustain and how far I could push it, but at this point they’re all pretty solid.

      Thank you! :) It took quite a long time, but most of that was making the holds. I started making holds in January of 2021 to see if it was worth it. I started the wall that February and finished almost a month later. I finally got to this^ point in February of 2022, so it was just over a year of total work. It might be wiser for most people to just buy holds and spend their free time elsewhere, but I took it slow and enjoyed the process :)
