    Plants are flowering earlier than ever - here’s how they sense the seasons: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Was pretty disappointed an article titled this way was missing most of the info about how they sense the end of winter, but it was pretty cool to read about the red-light shift for onset of autumn/winter. Though I strongly suspect the unknown temperature-sensing mechanism also affects that as well, since leaf color-changing varies so much from year to year and always seems to be affected by a cold snap
