Most likely due to Nintendo coming down with the hammer on piracy. If the admins of the reddit could be contacted to build up this community it would be great.
Seems like alot of the pirate communities are moving over Lemmy.

I believe the reason Reddit gave was for circumventing the ban of the original YuzuPiracy sub. Which of course was banned for copyrighted content.
