The guy who should have gotten it but didn’t because he was underestimated and his playoffs performances “weren’t good enough”, the same damn season goes on to win the championship and finals MVP, and pretty convincingly too after many not thinking they’d do it. That is, the playoffs immediately proved that the regular season assessment was somewhere between false and inaccurate, and he still nearly won it.
It goes beyond whether the finals MVP should have been the regular season MVP. It gets to the point of proving he was falsely robbed … ?
