This is an IMMENSE pathway. Circling 27.5miles of Detroit, Dearborn, Highland Park, and Hamtramck. It is connected to the existing riverfront pathway which is being extended to Belle Isle. There are numerous non-profits involved with the City of Detroit to make this happen. It is open to ALL of the public and will be a great way to get around the city as well as help bring foot/bike traffic further out from the downtown core.
I’d like some more information? Is this basically just an immense paved pathway? Who’s maintaining it?
I’m not downtown much, but if it’s roller-blade/skate suitable, i might bring my wheels and check it out some sunny day this summer.
