I didn’t post much on Reddit over the last few years, but I figure I ought to contribute to the communities I want to see thrive. My friend and I took our kayaks out last week and saw a bunch of beautiful sights, including egrets and great blue herons. Here’s a landscape shot.

Glad to see you here! The wildlife seen from a kayak is so diverse and wonderful. Watching birds fish, schools of fish swim, dolphins, seals, and even whales in the right waters. Turtles, fox, deer, etc. On the water is the only place I can get the noise of the world (in my head) to stop.
Who knows if the Fediverse and/or Lemmy will stick, but moving on from Reddit feels good, and we’ll find a home here or elsewhere so your presence and participation is appreciated!
