One thing that’s always bothered my about big R is the name *porn. Earthporn, plantporn, etc. I think it’s somewhat childish even though I’ve loved those subs for a long ass time. That’s why I choose the name phytography. Clever? Anyway, it’s a place to simply post plant pics. Especially natives!
I’ve got many many PNW natives. Some quite rare. I very much enjoy the challenge of cultivating them.
This is one of the topics that I feel Lemmy lacks, is more naturalists. I’ve made a few like Communities, but have little to no activity on them.
