There’s no breakfast buffet at this new place, so if you could all bring a plate to share that would be fabulous.
I’ve brought potatoes, help yourself to the microwave 🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔

I was confused for the last day about lemmy, kbin, mastodon, etc. But I think it finally just clicked and I’m excited.
Hopefully both Lemmy & Kbin devs keeps working on the user interface, it’s not far from Reddit when I started using it.
I’m commenting from the Jerboa app.
Jerboa app did not work well with my tablet, so I’m just on the web version at the moment.
It has been a steep learning curve - and I’ve managed to get two identities on different instances while I worked everything out. It’s probably a good idea anyway, that way if one instance crashes or something I can still use the other id.
The important thing is always the users and the content they create - all the other stuff follows behind.
I have so far made about half a dozen accounts on different instances, learning how to efficiently use one.
I am the top of this comment from @briongloid@aussie.zone , now I am interacting with the same post from the main lemmy instance with @briongloid@lemmy.ml
I’m doing the Mlem app which is still in beta testing. It’s nice but there’s no notifications for comment replies yet so have to revert to the webpage to see replies. Bit janky, but should be better when the Alpha version drops.
I have found jerboa ok - better then I expected actually. And quite liking the Lemmy interface. Set up an account on kbin too but the web interface is a bit clunkier on mobile.
I’m finding jerboa okay too, but still getting used to it - I’m not the most tech savvy person haha. And I’m glad I’m not the only who has created 2 profiles on 2 instances whilst trying to get my head around all this! 🥴
Nah -best way to learn!! Accounts everywhere…
