The purpose behind Ukrainian attacks are direct military goals, while the Houthis are trying to generate pressure on the international community to drop support for Israel. The Houthis are using bottom-tier logic, but it is fundamentally different from what Ukraine is doing both in terms of actions and reasoning.

Initially the Houthis only blocked ships related to israel which is completely fair game and heroic as they are standing up against Genocide.
Then America and Britain decided to bomb Yemen in order to help israel in their Genocide.
Now follow me here:
since Britain has bombed yemen they are directly at war with Yemen.
And these British ships are as directly involved in the war with the Houthis, as Russian trains are with the war in Ukraine.
