I was a huge pothead for years in highschool and after. Only recently, after getting a pretty good paying job that performs random drug tests do I see that, at least for now, I have to leave marijuana behind me. Smoke one for me, fellow stoners.

(At least psychs are still on the table 😉)

It really sucks there are still places that test for THC. My state banned most pre-emolyment testing, hopefully that’s in the cards for everyone in the future.

I took a long break several years ago due to work and just general burnout. Doing so gave me some perspective on how smoking was affecting me physically and mentally, and allowed me to make some positive changes in my life. I still enjoy puffing my THC vapes occasionally, but I don’t stay ripped out of my gourd like I once did. Maybe you’ll find some positivity in quitting. Good luck with your journey.

Have you tried cbd or cbg? Obv it’s not the same, but still helps with sleep, anxiety, etc. Cbg kinda boosts the cbd, or on its own helps with migraines. Also, cbd + 1 drink feels like 3 drinks to me - makes for a good cheap night without a hangover.

I’m not educated on the subject, but I’m told some of that may have trace amounts of thc, enough to fail a random if it comes to that

If you buy from a good vendor they’ll have lab reports on their website, so you can see if they’re any thc. There’s a reddit sub and a lemmy for hempflowers.

I just stopped smoking because I wasn’t performing well at my job, and it was getting close to getting me fired. I stopped and now I’m more focused, but I’m so fuckin bored all the time. Struggling to enjoy my hobbies nearly as much
