I have finally finished Volume 4, 5, and 6 of YumeDanshi (Dreaming Boy Turned Realist) today before the anime comes out this summer!

As for COTE, I think I’m gonna miss on hints if I do not reread the entire Y2 superarc before I delve into Y2V8, V0, and V9. So I held off on rereading for now until at least Y2V9.5 comes out (Hiyori fan here btw)

OmiShita (is that what it’s called? I personally call it Omiai), I cannot finish it because it’s too much diabetes with the fourth volume. Same with The Angel Next Door’s seventh volume. The feeling that you cannot but still carry on reading because the main couple is doing lewd yet wholesome things.

Min-Maxing My TRPG Build in Another World: Volume 6

I wasn’t a fan of the vol. 2-5 arc but this one I liked again. And since we get best girl again in the end, I’m really looking forward to vol. 7 now. - 6/10 ttrpg references

Since I Was Abandoned After Reincarnating, I Will Cook With My Fluffy Friends: The Figurehead Queen Is Strongest At Her Own Pace Volume 5

Inoffensive and comfy entertainment, just like the other volumes. We get to see MC’s family and I’m so happy to announce that they don’t suck for once. And now there are snow cats to pet as well. - 7/10 fluffy little friends

Cooking with Wild Game: Volume 21

My third favorite LN series and volume 21 delivered as well. - 8/10 poitan wraps

Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools Volume 7

With a slew of new inventions, the days of the Rosetti company are getting hectic. - 8/10 fantasy household appliances

    Making magic…

Nice novel of avarage quality. In first volume author is quite horny. Quite forgettable

Edit: also Myne is quite nice as a community icon.

      Making magic

Haven’t read the series yet but wasn’t this with a female POV? I can’t remember any horny LN with female protag off the top of my head.

Edit: also Myne is quite nice as a community icon.

Thanks. Picking her was a no-brainer. Who could possibly be a better poster girl for a book-related community.

Re-reading To another world with Land Mines from vol1 to vol7 on Jnovel.club. It is decent series, the realistic take on transported to another world troupe is the one I like in this series. Other aspect (the prose, plot and character development) is ordinary though, so I can’t really recommend it to anyone…

That’s one I’ve read as well. I think it’s good enough even though the whole titular premise doesn’t play much into the story so far. There was that one “land mine” that worked in the pub and then ran off and the trio of thugs they dealt with relatively early on.

But as you said, I find the more realistic approach interesting and it stood out to me and while the prose is ordinary, I found it decent enough to not affect my enjoyment negatively.

Volumes 1-3 of The World’s Fastest Level Up. It’s a typical cheat skill fantasy story, minus the isekai. The characters go dungeon crawling to level up, gain special skills, and make money. Protag wants to use his cheat skill to rise to the top.

The first volume was okay. Nothing special, but it matched the description and adhered to the premise, so no complaints there. The protagonist wasn’t awful (as far as these types of stories go). Just a single-minded guy working solo towards his goal.

Didn’t enjoy the second and third volumes as much. The main character devolved into more of an oblivious harem protagonist, and he seemed less consistent in general. Wasn’t a fan of the twists in the story or the general direction it’s going in either.

I almost picked that one up last week. Thanks for the warning, I think I stay away from it for the moment.
