Hollow Knight - started last week and got through initial frustration, now I’m enjoying it and expect to love it by the end!

It’s an amazing game, you end up feeling quite immersed. I love it.

So jealous, I wish I could experience it for the first time again.

I remember being frustrated at first, too, but once it clicked I just couldn’t stop exploring

I finally got to try HK from the local library on ps4. Found out that while in really interested in the game, I absolutely hate the controls and gameplay. Which is how I feel with most platformers. Little big planet, Rainbow Islands and Bubble Bobble I remember as being happy exceptions. And Not a Hero.

It’s a beautiful and amazing creation, though.

Oh the controls were rough for the first couple of hours! I was very angry at times, especially as I had read that HK controls amazingly tightly. Couldn’t wrap my head around that.

It got better over time though, I’m 12 hours in, still dying a lot, but moreso because the platforming is starting to be challenging at times, controls themselves are feeling much better than in the beginning.
